Why Central Texas
The Central Texas Area spans five counties with Austin being at the heart of it in Travis County. Williamson County (Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown) to the north and Hays County (Kyle, Buda) to the south are among the fastest growing counties in the United States. Collectively the area has close to 1.5 million inhabitants and growing.
The population is young & highly educated, attracting major employers and businesses into the area. The area gets replenished with young, highly educated people because of the numerous colleges in town(University of Texas, Texas State University, St. Edwards, Concordia, Austin Community College). The area is rated by Forbes as one of the most attractive for new businesses.
Add to all that the great climate throughout the year, the beautiful hill country landscape, the great recreation areas in town; and it's no wonder why the Austin area is always ranked among the best places to live in among the numerous national publications.
Its unemployment rate is lower than the state of Texas which is already very low. Jobs are being created much quicker than the rest of the state. The Who’s who of high tech companies has a foothold here (Dell, Intel, IBM, Sun Microsystems, Samsung and many more). The area’s population is projected to continue to grow and eventually overtake San Antonio as the 3rd largest city in Texas. Jobs will bring in people, who would need accommodations & recreation, which equates to appreciation in property values.
Central Texas is going through growth now, major highway infrastructure(CTTS & CTRMA) & lightrail system is being built to accomodate the area's expansion. Employers are expanding. It will continue to grow for the foreseeable future. Don't miss out on this nascent stage of its growth. Check out all that's happening in Austin that demonstrates this boom below. Contact us.
